overview:

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who assist with operational logistics and the delivery of recreational activities. Assistants work under direct supervision and guidance from those responsible for planning, finalising and delivering activities, including program managers and leaders.

Assistants use a range of fundamental activity techniques and can work in indoor and outdoor recreation environments, adventure learning centres or camps delivering outdoor recreation activities including commercial, not-for-profit and government organisations.

Classroom theory sessions – Paramount Adventure Centre training room or school
Practical training sessions & assessments – various outdoor locations, Gold Coast
Self-paced online training & exams

Units:

11 units total = 4 x Core + 7 x Elective unit
